Clark, my son and husband were out walking it was 81 degrees and so hot and  they were looking for snake holes..

Here is a rattle snake sunning himself. It did not move when he moved the leaves off of it.

 Also a Blue Racer.

Vacation in Florida

This is the door to our cottage where we spent the month of February at Tropical Manor at Daytona Beach, Florida.We walked 156 miles on the beach for the month. We only had 2 cold days, one rainy day. In the 75-86 most of the time. We played BINGO  two times a week. Every Tuesday they gave us chocolate chip cookies and on Valentines day they put cup cakes in our refrigerator while we were out walking.

This is our favoirte restruant, cement floor, picnic tables and no sides to the building  all open. They serve the best food. Always busy with customers. It is the food that makes the restruant not the apperance. Boats and Yachts outside.

This is my meal fried clams and mashed potatoes.Look at the size of those clams strips. We ate here 5 times. We also got a big garden salad too.

  One finished, I got this pattern, from February/March issue of the Quilter magazine. Looks kinda like an envelope. I plan to make one more placemat and give to my new secret sister.

Owl's

I have a friend that loves Owl's So for her birthday I made these mug rugs, key chain  holder, and Check book cover. I bought the material in November with her in mind. She was thrilled.

My Just takes 2 Blocks

These are my six blocks I have made from Just takes 2.

I used Kona white material and scraps from my stash. Just hit the button on my block and join in the fun. I have 93 pieces so far in 6 blocks.There are 2,600 when the quilt is done. What a challenge!!

Best Birthday Ever

What a wonderful  birthday I had this year. Eric took me to Red Lobster in Fairlawn, Clark gave  us a Sumbean heated Mattress Pad, Dick took me to Red Lobster in Wooster, Elaine had a Taco Salad Dinner with I mean everything. Pat  Hall gave  me Sexy Ryon P'Js. Elaine & Jim gave me 2 neighties . Phyllis Hanzie gave me the Famous Hanzie  Chocolates. Then  to set it off Eric came with Coffee, macaroni, Canned Chicken, eggs and a box of Candy. Now I know Eric's loves Macaroni Salad  he said he didn't want me to run out and he said the chicken makes the best stir fry.
