FROM TOMATOES TO SWEET POTATOES.

I canned 46 qt. and 11 pt. of tomato juice. I also added hot peppers to some cans.

Now to grow sweet potatoes you put a potato from last year in a glass of water and when the potato sprouts leaves you break them off and put in water glass  for them to root. Then you plant them in the ground and this is what you get. April 4-16 put in  water and dug October 6-16

 Aren't these beautiful?.

                                                     They taste great too.

STRIP QUILT IN PROGRESS

This is what I have been sewing on . I took a class from Mary Lou Nuzum how
to make a strip quilt from your scraps.  I have 8 rows done and plan to make 4 more.
The strips are sewed on warm and natural.

The back is 6 1/2 inch blocks and a binding strip between the blocks.
Each row is put together with a binding strip that is slip stitched on the back.
Then I  will put a binding all around  to finish it.
