Rail Fences on Manitoulin Island, Canada

These are the fences on all the roads on the Island. I think because the ground is all rock they can not put posts in to put up a wire fence. Every fence is made of rail fences like our grandparents use to put up years ago.

November Robin

This pattern is from  www.Elliesquiltplace.com . Last week when I was out on my walk I saw 2 robins and decided they  were  here in Ohio on their  way south. That is the first sign of Spring but I never saw them in the fall before.
I plan to go to Round Lake with the Parkview Christian Church women this week end for a sewing week end. Taking 2 classes and going to sew a lot of UFO.
