Now here are some beautiful cars from the l950 and 1960.

  I always dreamed of owning a Mustang and here I am
finally enjoying it in the front seat at the drivers wheel of a Red Mustang.

  A convertible. What a thrill to be in the drivers seat.

 

  Can't believe it took me 84 years to get here.

  This is the place to see all kinds of cars and enjoy them.

FEBRUARY and a NEW SEWING MACHINE

February is almost gone and I have  some

wonderful news.

My daughter bought me a new Singer Sewing Machine

when my Brother locked up and quit sewing.

I had to lean how to fill the bobbins and sew with it

and Pat my friend came over and we sewed a new ironing

board cover isn't it beautiful.

 

 Now I had sewed this runner for my son at my retreat

so I got busy and quilted it and  put the button eyes on.

 

That was a very hard to sew the button on so little

and 4 holes to bring the needle up from the back.

 

Now click on the pictures and see how nice it turned out.

 

We have a new president of the Tree City quilters

and  she gave us a envelope with instructions in to make a block

We also traded a bag of scraps to work 15 minutes a day on I have not done yet.

Hope to get it done before the next meeting.

 

SNOW BALL BLOCKS by TEMECULA QUILT CO.

Here are the light and dark blocks I have made so far.

 

  As of January 24 I have 184 sewed cut and pressed.

JANUARY 2018

 I walked 376 miles and rode my exercise bike 3785 miles this last year.
I also lost 5 lbs and most of all how happy I am I lost 3/4 inch in my belly
and 1 inch in hips and 1/2 inch in ankles.The rest stayed the same. I have
been keeping records of my exercise since 1983 and my measurements
since 1997.

Temecula Quilt Compay SNOW BALL sew along

This started December 7 Each week you are to make 16 blocks 

8 light and 8  dark 

This is a great way to use charm squares and scraps.

196 4 1/2 squares with 784 1 1/2 square corners.

So far I have 64 Blocks completed. only 132 more to go. 

DECEMBER

December is here and we have no snow on the ground. 

So happy. It was  26 this morning but got up to 47 this afternoon.
