BENJAMIN FRANKLIN BLOCK 17

Strength in the Union Block is the name of this block. The British government decided to repel the Stamp Act even though it reserved the right to tax the North American Colonies. Ben felt that reconciliation with England was most important. After all, no colony had ever successfully split with its mother country and survived at least not in 1760. Ben feared deeper trouble was brewing.
