In 1783 Benjamin Franklin, along with the American delegation in France, signed the Treaty of Paris ending the Revolutionary War with the British. He returned to Philadelphia and his family his son-in- law, grandchildren and daughter Sally were waiting for him on Market Street. Click on picture to see the bell and Liberty in the center blocks.
