Table Cloth & Pad

I made this table cloth for my son Antique Table. I had to make a pad for  the table I used  Warm and Natural in between the best muslin. It was 96 x  46. Eric made the pattern for it with freezer paper. It was circular and turned out great.  Now he doesn't have to use just place mats when he entertains.  The material matches his chairs and wall paper. How about that?  Click on the picture and see how it really looks.

BEN FRANKLIN STORM SIGNAL BLOCK

Benjamin was constantly observing hot and cold fronts, storm  patterns, and lightening. In 1937 the waving flags used to warn sailors of dangerous weather.  The light and dark are important to give this block its nautical flag like feel.  Click on picture to see how I made the dark and light  materials to make this block. I have to make 3 more  just like this  one for the BOM.

Nabby's Dowry Quilt Sew Along

Since July 12 every Friday I have been making a Block and finally have them all together , It took 162 1/2 square triangles and 46 squares. This was the first time I ever did  a point on point with the help of my friend Pat Hall  we got it together. It is to have a border but I think after I quilt it I will just bind it in black. You can click on the picture and see all the little triangles.

Here is a picture of me and the quilt. Each Friday a new design was on the internet. The blocks are 6 1/2.
