OHIO STATE PLACE MATS.

I was unable to play microsoft games

on my computer.

Felipe a PhD Student at Ohio State fixed

up my computer for me.

So I decided  to make him some

Ohio State  Placemats.

 

  

 I bought the material at

Joann Fabrics. 

So I am so happy I can play my

games I enjoy again. 

MY BIRTHDAY

Can you  believe I am 86 years old.

My daughter had a great taco Dinner for me.

When my Grandmother was 86 I thought she

was a old old person.

But I think of my self as a spring Chicken . haha

POT HOLDERS

I made these pot holders for the

women of my church that sew

lap quilts  for people in the hospital;

 I thought it would be nice to give to them

as we all can use pot holders.

DECEMBER

   December is here and we had our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Today I sewed 2 pot holders
   I have decided to use some of my blocks I have sewed into pot holders. The sun shone great
   to day for DECEMBER 1st. There are so many web sites on for 2020 with great patterns to sew
  not sure which one I will join in,.

These pot holders were made out of my Block Wednesday.

I finally got back sewing again.

These coasters match the place mats.

NOVEMBER

This looks like a chick instead'

of a turkey. Maybe a baby turkey/

                                         Don't forget to change your clock tomorrow night;
                                                     Snow will soon be falling.

OCTOBER

This mug rug is what I sewed last month only'

I have had sciatic  nerve pain and not doing  any

sewing  just  doing therapy. Hope I get better

soon. What terrible pain this is.

SEPTEMBER AND THE FAIR

AUGUST

 The butterflies are enjoying our zinnias.

JULY A BUSY MONTH

This month is time to  start freezing  garden

produce have done 35 cups of broccoli, 7 bowls

 of asparagus soup, 4 packages of spinach already.

 All new quilt alongs are starting  on the

web sites to give me ideas what to sew next.

 

JUNE IS REALLY BUSTING OUT ALL OVER THE GARDEN

 Now this tomato is on my son's plant so I guess he will have the first ripe tomato this year.

The corn is growing my son in law weeded the rows for us.

 The squash is growing and the lima beans.

 The elderberries are really covered and I just used up my last package of last year for elderberry cobbler

 The snow ball bush is beautiful again this year

  My son  went to go fishing to day and this is what he saw. Unbelievable .
 Look at those waves.

    The river is over all the banks, He went home and sent me these pictures.

JUNE

The saying June is busting out all over.

This is a beautiful pink sweater my son  ERIC got me in BRAZIL

He also got me a pink necklace to match.\

                                 Now the broccoli is starting to head and you can see the '
                                               corn coming up beside it.

                                                 

  

  

APRIL DAYS

This bunny is hopping in to say hello.

 

Started these cabbage  plants from old seeds and

planted out side to day 4 plants.

These are sweet  peppers growing in 

the bay window.

These are cherry tomatoes, started  in the house.

will be planted last of May.

 

 These are coaters I made for my grandaughter

to match her placemats.
