PILLOW CASES

I spent the day making pillow cases for Community Service Project I made 4 but only have pictures of three. I pressed material to make many more.  I enjoyed my day doing something for some one else. We met at Parkview  Christian Church . I plan to sew again when they meet.

QUILTY 365 PLACE MATS

I have button holed 112 circles on  4 1/2 inch squares and decided to make some place mats with them for my Grandsons, I even found some circle material at Jo Ann  that make them look nice.. So click on the pictures to see my scrappy  circles and quilting.  Have 2  place mats  more yet to finish for them.

APRIL

April is here and  the sun shines great every day. The flowers are springing up. I am  sewing the Splendid blocks on Sunday and Thursday and keeping ahead on my 365 Quilty circles and also working on my strip blocks sewing them on warm and natural batting. This month I plan to go to Parkview Church Spring Sewing Retreat and will work on my toilet tank runners. I have sewed seven and have 5 more to complete the year. So I am behind on my BOM runners.  I got behind last summer when the garden was producing and now I am Spring cleaning this house. But I always take time to sew something each day to keep  up with my projects I love to do.
