HAGAR Block 5 of Women of the Bible

Hagar was an Egyptian slave girl in Abraham's tribe.

This is a block I made from the triangles that I cut off of Hagar's Block above. I just could not throw them away.  I  quilted it and will make a nice hot pad or  mug rug.

ALLIGATOR PLANT STILL BLOOMING

This plant is from GREECE and my second year of having it. It had buds on at  Christmas  Day.  Valentines day  the buds opened up  but now it keeps blooming down the stock.

   This is a close up of it but if you click the pictures you can see how delicate it is. and it has more buds coming on . I watch it every day and can't believe how it is getting more buds and flowers each day.

NOAH'S WIFE

The five times in the Bible Noah's wife is not given a name.At the time the Bible was written men were considered more important than women and often women's names were left out of the Bible.

This is Block 3 Sarah she was Abraham's half sister. It was not uncommon for half siblings who had same father but different mother to marry. Later this practice became illegal. read about Sarah Genesis 17-21.  .
