SHOP HOP QUILT

This is a quilt I traveled 250 miles and 7 counties to 12 different quilt shops to get  a kit   to make it. Each shop had a finishing kit to put it together. I choose  Lone Star Quilt Shop in Mt. Hope;

I gave it to my Grandson Jared who is going to  University of N.C. It is quilted with red,blue and white thread by Sarah Bistline. Click on picture to see it up close.

Poinsettia Flowers

This is a plant that my son gave me   4 years ago with only  one bloom  and each summer I plant it out side in the shade , and each year it has more and more flowers. and has beautiful green leaves.

It has been blooming since Christmas with a lot more flowers  coming on. Click picture and see how healthy it is.

ALLIGATOR PLANT

My son got this plant from Greece and gave to his friend and  one to me, It has a white flower and very delicate. This one bloomed last year for his friend. 

 Mine did not bloom last year but it has buds on this year since Christmas  and still have not opened up yet.It also has buds down on the stems lower . I have it in South Bay Window.

Happy New Year. I wish you all good Health and Happiness and keep on stitching.  

  I had a great Thanksgiving, with every one home. I love to cook for my family My daughter had
a Taco Dinner for me  for my birthday.. My favorite meal. I had  a Turkey Dinner for her birthday.
Now I am enjoying making the blocks for Sew Sweet Simplicity. I just downloaded  BOM of www.elefantz.com It is all about our kitchen; The first block is FLOUR ,Just a little wall hanging for your kitchen. So many new things to stitch and so many things not finished. haha
