Pam Buda of www.Heartspunquilts.blogspot.com is having a sew along that started April 25,1014 with 3 inch and 1 1/2 inch finished squares. I chose the 2 inch square which will be 1 1/2 finished since I am sure will be a challenge for me. Each Friday she will have a new block up. My square is true it just needs to be pressed a little more. So come join the fun.
I went to a Spring Break at Parkview Church and made this pillow. The pattern is from Karrie Lyne of Freckledwhimsy.com . Karrie gives you the choice of pillow, baby quilt, lap, queen, king size to make.
I choose to make the pillow scrappy and it turned out just great. I had fun quilting it too. Click on pictures to see my quilting. I love it. I had a wonderful time at the retreat with the friends, fellowship and devotions. The Fall retreat is in November and look forward to it.
Jane Richardson from Our Tree City Guild gave a work shop on making this jacket. My son came home with his 1963 Convertible Cadillac and took my picture. Now Spring has arrived since he has his car out.
Now I noticed the sleeves are too long for me so will have to take off the cuffs. The Honey Suckle has buds shooting out but it still looks dead in the background.
